Where's the "way below average" option?

We don't need to discriminate for those already below average.

I'm going for way above average - and I've got the IQ test results to prove it.

Now if only I could get around to using this intelligence to do something useful with my life....

I put "way below" as an option so either:

    1. I'm not allowed that many options or...

    2. I don't know how to work the computer.....

What, so they're not entitled to vote aren't I?

The number of people voting way above average means either that cyclists are all geniuses or people are lying.

Having seen some of the posts requiring moderation, or the comments made when posts are reported, I'd have to say it's the latter. ;)

Ahem, I think you mean 'mostly' or 'largely'?

Ah balls - couldn't even quote it properly. Won't edit so you can see my incompetence.

I voted below average because no-one else had up to now. Felt sorry for that option

I can tie my own laces and wave bye bye - does that make me above average?

There is still some debate as to what exactly constitutes intelligence. You can actually improve at IQ tests with practice and it is as much about concentration as it is intelligence. Also if someone can't read but can strip an engine or carve quality furniture then how do you measure that intelligence? One thing is for sure, that intelligence on its own is useless.

indeed....even the propellorhead compSci folks can't make artificially intelligent machines because they can't quite get the definition of 'intelligence' nailed down.

Well I got to grammar school in 1950 when only about 10% in my area made it through the IQ tests. So I guess if you define intelligence quotient as the ability to do intelligence tests then I must be above average. Pity I didn't use it effectively.

However it's as well to remember that 'averages' are tricky things to deal with when you appreciate that over 99% of the population has more than the average number of legs and 100% have exactly the average number of heads.

My diagnosis for autism also says I'm of above average intelligence. that's good enough for me. :D

Plus - I too went to the top grammar school in my town (top 10%)

and I'm very good at sudoku :P
