Carrera Fury price rise

I've just noticed that Halfords have increased the price of a 2008 Carrera Fury from £499 to £549. I was hoping that it might appear in a sale soon. Does anyone have any info on future sale prices? £399 would be nice . Thanks,

They keep farting about with its price. I guess the rise is so they can say it is a bigger reduction when they reduce it yet again.

I bet the price crashes just before the '09 Furys are due out, that way they can 'claim' to have reduced the price by £150, makes it look like a better sale price!

When I looked the yesterday they were £400 after a £50 reduction, now up to £550, they're making me dizzy !!

Fingers crossed for a price drop soon. I used to work in a shop (not selling bikes). When a sale was approaching they used to put all prices up to recommended retail so that when they put the sale discount on the drop looked more attractive.

I think it was a legal requirement but dont quote me. I think it was 2 weeks before or something like that.

I've been holding out for a price drop so hopefully not much longer to wait.

Has to have been at the higher price for 28 days before they can quote a reduction. Which is exactly what Halfords will do for this 'final clearance'.

Law needs changing, should be the price it as been at most in the previous 12 months.
