I know you shouldn't but I do - but me in-ear ones are knackered. Can anyone recommend some that stay secure and give a good solid bassy sound, preferably in ear ones. What are those hook over your ear ones like, comfy with a helmet or not?
All my life I've wanted to be someone; I guess I should have been more specific.

Most of those on the first page. Earbud earphones.

Not great for cycling through traffic, but any of those which bury deep in your ear and block off all the surrounding sound.

Excellent quality for headphones throughout the frequency range.

No need for earhooks for those.

Any better quality sound-wise you're going to have to look for a pair of good cans.

I use Shure SE115 earbuds. The slightly lower-end version (SE110) are also fantastic. Not cheap, but very, very good.

Another vote for Shures, love mines.

Better yet, keep the headphones out 8)
  • By far the best headphones I've ever heard. Brilliant sound, great noise isolation (I never have to turn the volume up), brilliant build quality. And so damn cheap it's unreal.

Noise isolation - just want you want on the roads!

  • Speak for yourself! I can't bear to hear the Roadies crying salty tears into their wrap-arounds as I pass any more. I JUST CAN'T BEAR IT!
