Touring from Barcelona

Does anyone have experience of using left luggage in Barcelona? My enquiries at the airport tell me that the largest lockers are only 89x80x50, which doesn't sound wide enough for a rigid bike bag. Can anyone advise me as to the best way of getting round this? Maybe I would be best advised to buy one of those small bags which fold into A4, and stick it in my pannier?

    Which airport are you flying to in Barcelona... there are three?

    I just left from Girona with Ryanair and there is a hotel right next to the airport. I stayed there and it seems the sort of place that would save a box for you.
    It's an uphill climb to the bottom

    Thanks for the tip: that might have worked, but I am flying with BA to the (I suppose) main airport.
