Contador's bike is unreal. Pure style even down to matching stem and white handlebars.

A one man posting frenzy?
Ho-hum. This training lark is far better than racing.
    Eurosport: "Cadel Evans looks overweight,"
"Cadel Evans has been out of competition for over a month,"
"Cadel Evans needs this race to get into shape,"
"Look at this, Cadel Evans blows the leading time to pieces."

    Where's he been hiding?

    Where's he been hiding?

Cuddles weighs 2kg more than Bertie according to Wikipedia.

Does this mean it's ok for him to hand everyone their asses in TT without suspicion?
Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.

Just 12kms and with a 4th cat climb. Yet Basso, fresh from the Giro, loses over a minute!
Most around here, still think he's dubious.

Obviously, Lotto's crap season has been a cunning plan to hide where they've spent all that money they saved on Quasimodo Kohl.......

Evans must have elevated wheel sucking to a new level; chasing the guy who started a minute earlier... :D

Either that or he WAS NOT WHEEL SUCKING

Nice ride for the squeeky one.

  • I'd send him off first. He'd get lost.
    Good ride though.

WTF?? Ahh my bad...of course if someone wins a race then they MUST be dirty
Basso?....Just finished a very tough Giro. Do you think he might be just a little tired and lacking in motivation? How about credit where it's due. Contador and Evans road great races. Simple as that. Nothing more nothing less.

Basso had to change bikes twice in the TT, which is why he lost so much time

As has already been stated, the parcours was far from flat, hence you'd expect those who can climb to be near the top on this one, unlike the pan flat Paris-Nice prologue.

MG, if you want to fling mud, why not go back to the last time we brought this up and answer the points I made, or would you rather just stick to taking smart-arse little pot shots on every prologue thread that comes up?

Damn! There is me thinking Contador has a custom TT bike then I see that Lance is riding what looks to be an identical design: http://twitpic.com/6y7z8

Can't tell so much and it could be in yellow but the design looks pretty similar. That is just rubbish.

One cat 4 climb my old granny (god rest her soul) could have blatsed up in the big ring .Id have expected you to be commenting on a few of the chunkier riders failure to have done better given how you dont seem take any factor into account expect size. Anyway subsequent races have shown how ridiculous and slanted your comments regarding the Paris Nice prologue really were.
