I have actually been in bike outlet ;-) They have expanded from what they were, and have some good reports.

  • Have been to the bike outlet a few times, they can be competitive on price, but the staff are pretty miserable which never makes for a nice atmosphere! Also there store prices are different to the internet ones and if you ask for an internet price in store they try to charge you for postage on top. I was shocked but a bit of haggling saved the day!

    Hi

I have. Good knowledgable staff. friendly, not pushy. Seemed competetive pricewise too at the time.

No hesitation in recommending. However, have you tried Cycle Gear in Halifax?? Thats where I go. Always there to tweak my bike at short notice for little or no charge

Yes mate went there when i was interested in a marin, but decided to get a Specialized and don't want to purchase from King Cross so was wanting to know what Blazing Saddles were like, went yetsreday seems a good shop and friendly and professional so don;t mind giving them my money, cheers for the input, by the way you know any decent areas to go off road apart from Withins/Ogden?

Cycle Basket are good (great little bike shop, used to go in there lots years ago), the on-line stuff they have seems well priced but the really good bargains seem to be out of stock all the time. Did order some chains & a cassette from them on-line last year and they arrived in a couple of days.

have ordered some brakes from bike outlet before, and did say it would take 3-5 days for delivery, so on day 7 emailed them and they said they have been sent out, and should have definatly received them later that day... 3 days later, finaly got them, and the post date on the box said that it was posted 2 days after they told me they should have arrived, why cant people just be honest? lol

Bikeoutlet are great, online or the shop, I have used a few times and always had excellent friendly advice and good service. Can't comment on the others mentioned, never used them.

I got my bars from Bikeoutlet, excellent service and very nearly 50% off the next nearest competitor. Very pleased.
