Hi Everyone,
I was hoping somebody could enlighten me.
I cycle. Sometimes I ride my road bike, sometimes I ride my mountain bike, sometimes I commute to work on my crappy bike that doesn't really know if it's a road bike or a mountain bike or a hybrid. And finally sometimes I ride a tandem with whoever is daft enough to get on the back.
My point is that I enjoy all sorts of cycling, I don't drive for health reasons so I had to enjoy it really! I would love to read a magazine that was about cycling, not road racing, road cycling, mountain biking or any other specific type of cycling, just cycling.
Does such a publication exist? If not do the people at the brilliant Bike Radar think there might be a market for one?
I look forward to hundreds of replies.

I think its called something like 'Cycling Plus'.......
Cycling is a multi-faceted activity. Some mags specialise, some generalise - the most general of all of these - as fas as I can tell - is the one mentioned above.0 -
I'd agree with the above, although C+ doesn't really cover mtb.
I also get the CTC magazine (joined for the insurance) which does cover all types of cycling including mtb, but it's not as good a read as C+0 -
Cycling plus fits the bill.
I think I can sense a kind of consensus of opinion here.Tail end Charlie
The above post may contain traces of sarcasm or/and bullsh*t.0 -

Thanks to you all for your replies. I'll get a copy of Cycle plus. The references to "The Comic" went over my head I'm afraid. What is it?
Cheers

Cycling Plus isn't quite as 'all things to all cyclists' as it used to be. Back in the day they used to review MTBs and off-road stuff also. Although to be honest, the publication becoming just road-orientated has made it better.
Most of the articles / reviews make thier way onto Bike Radar though, so I'm never sure whtether it's worth buying or not?0 -

C+ is the mag from which the portal Bike Radar evolved (amongst one or two other publications from the same stable).
"The comic", as it's widely known, is Cycling Weekly. This is an out and out road cycling mag with lots of emphasis on local TT etc results and a bit more populist than the specialist Pro Cycling and pro tour monthly publications.
I subscribe to C+ and find it a generally good read. A neighbour subscribes to CW and we do a swap, tbh I wouldn't miss CW. C+ is the best general interest cycling mag IMHO.
Just don't mention the C+ forum and cycle chat debacle......Where the neon madmen climb0
