Coed y brenin, which trail?
going there with a mate, on tuesday, he has FS, i have HT
i can do the red at llandegla, ok-ish, and find the black ( berms/jumps) hard, walk some of them
which trail at Coed y brenin, would be a good one to start from, ( rather start at a red one tho)

I did the MBR today, and ony fell off twice, down some stone step things.
We didn't think it was long enough and would do the tarw instead nxt time0 -
Do the MBR.
I did the MBR and the TARW back to back when i went but i much preferred the MBR, i thought the TARW had a bit too much fire road.
You will find coed-y-brenin a tatally different world to llandegla, its much rockier and more technical.0 -
Tarw is a killer if you are a novice...me and the hubby did it last year, he got heatstroke and i got piddled off with all the fire road climbing !!!!
