Those of us doing a couple of sportives this year on a 9 speed may be thinking of a knee-saver gear for some of those big hills encountered after 85 miles. Discovered that CRC now has the SRAM 11-28 PG950 back in stock. A bit cheaper than the Ultegra 12-27 and a touch lower (and higher!) geared too. Oh, and yes, a 28 WIILL work with a standard rear mech!

I'm dead impressed with CRC because they actually sent me a stock notice when this cassette returned to stock, even though the stock enquiry I'd made (when it happened to out of stock) was made months ago. Also when I had to return a faulty item once, they followed up by phone to make sure that I'd received the replacement safely and that it was OK for me.
Now that is service!

for anyone wanting 10spd, wiggle have the OG1070 in 11-28 for £45, which is a good price.
