Music Tracks for hill climbing

OK it's like this -

I'm due for an 8 hour ride doing the quebrantahuesos and 6 of those hours will be climibing, so in an effort to help me get over the cols I'm going to bring my Ipod and listen to some tracks en-route.

This is where I need some help.

What I'm looking for is a long list of tracks (about 3 hours worth) with a good fast beat and with an uplifting or aggressive edge to help me in my hours of need. My tastes are rather eclectic so there are no boundaries really.

To kick things off I've added a few, but please add to the list in Alphabetical order (by Artist) so one hell of a hill climbing playlist can be created.

Chemical Brothers, definitely - Galvanise was on my iPod as I was going up Hardknott on the Fred

Gotta be some Green Day in there too - lots of them from almost any album (including the new one)

A spot of MGMT for some 'lighter moments' - Kids / Electric Feel / Time To Pretend

Fleetwood Mac - Go Your Own Way / Don't Stop

A few Prodigy tracks are always good too

Hardfloor - Mahogany Roots. First listen you think WTF? But whilst pumping away on the pedals it's got a hypnotic effect that really gets you in the zone. Awesome stuff! In fact, anything by Hardfloor.

Click on the play button, top right, not the vid links!

    http://www.last.fm/music/Hardfloor/_/Mahogany+Roots

Kraftwerk - Aerodynamik (the live one off minimum - maximum, not the album one.)

    Ministry - New World Order

    Underworld - King of Snake

Fleetwood Mac - Tusk. Quality drum 'n' brass :D

OK, things are really starting to take shape now.

I'll admit I'm not a huge fan of death metal/thrash but always open to any little gems that may come out of the suggestions, and I reckon some of them would be better for the descents

Out of curiousity why hasn't anyone suggest Enter Sandman, start of it is awesome for cranking it up hills....or is it just to mainstream

Also added some more myself including GNR (that one's for you Mikey) 8) :

How about some minimalist music, a bit niche admittedly but very repetative and many of the tracks last for 10-15 minutes (some up an hour) and put you in a trance-like state: perfect for making you ignore the gradients!

Steve Reich: Music for 18 musicians/ Phases/ Piano Phases/ Eight Lines

Philip Glass: Glass Organ Works, Koyaanisqatsi

Search them on Spotify or something similar to see what I mean!

This could end up being an awesome list.

You can't go wrong with the ac-dc. The most energetic music ever in my opinion. I go with the 'If You Want Blood' live album when training. Classic Bon Scott.

G'n'R. Glad to see it get a mention. 'You Could Be Mine' in honour of the new Terminator film right now.

Nirvana - Smells like Teen spirit.
    Metalica - Enter Sandman
    Pantera - Walk

Bizzarly, I like to train to some mellow electronica too. Air - Moon Safari album. Moby's Play and the Utah Saints' album Two do a good job for me, even though I'm a rocker at heart.

    Good call!

Check out "Ney York Counterpoint" by Steve Reich.

Old pre-1998 atmospheric drum n bass is good for the "trance-like" state too. Check out Seba, PFM, Source Direct, LTJ Bukem.

I used to listen to John Digweed's radio show on Kiss FM and it used to have loads of that kind of stuff - I need to check it out ASAP.
