Are they any good in the dry? I know they'll grip, but what is rolling resistance like compared to my current Michelin Pro Race 3s? Are they worth it as an all year round tyre?

I have a set of 25s which I used all through last year. They are now on my winter bike. I think they are great tyres.

Any tyre is a compromise - it all depends on what you personally are happy to compromise on....

A bit 'dead' feeling IMO but seem to be fairly durable and OK for all-round use - don't expect the same quality or ride and feel as a race tyre though - thicker tread and sidewalls 'deaden' the ride
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

I thought they were dreadful, even as Winter training tyres - little grip, poor puncture protection, very slow, almost impossible to get onto a wheel.
    I ditched mine...

worst tyres ive ever used- felt like wood-punctured easily and were so loose on rims the tube was always trying to escape and go pop oh and they weigh a ton as well

there are lighter tyres out there, I'm sure - but 230g is not exactly heavy is it..?

As always, Continental tyres are like marmite, you either love them or hate them.

Yes. I started using them after getting repeated punctures on previous favourites, Vit Corsa Evo CX and have used them ever since for sportive/racing & TTs, finding them fast and very puncture resistant.

(Just to add another ingredient into the mix, for competition use with latex tubes)

Never had a puncture problem with them but they do feel dead and a bit sluggish.
