How do you pronounce the names of certain bike brands and their models?

If you know could you write it phonetically?

Wilier
Kuota
Viner
Kiron
Cervélo
Bianchi

I'm tired of going into bike shops and being corrected and then going into another bike and being re-corrected with what I said the first time...

and lets not forget pronounce a word right may differ from what locals/company calls it's self.

a lot of welsh towns/villages are localy pronounced slightly or not so slightly differnet to the 'correct' way.

    Don

If this is the worst thing that happens to you - you will have a very nice day.

and I would add that speaking to anyone about owt in italian/ german/spanish/irish and I anticipate being corrected.

I reckon if you can just pronounce Kuota correctly and make sure everyone on this forum can you will have achieved something worthwile - and the carbon superpowers continue

I simply say Campag and be done with it. I think every single bike shop and person I've spoken to has called it Campag and never the full name.

Thinking about it, I've been reading it in my head the second way, but do Italians actually have those bendy 'n's like the Spanish have? (Mañana, Jalapeño, etc)

In the words of a fat, bald bloke in a wheelchair and dirty vest

    "Want that one"
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

Campan-yolo. The G is silent, but when combined with the no makes a nyo sound.

Nope... and he's not a character in a rubbish sci-fi TV show or you'd know about him already.

    Keep guessing.
