Not quite the same impact, but at least now I'd be able to understand more than half of what you're saying :oops:

I have a very dear friend who's a Geordie (some of my best friends?? :? ) and his accent is quite soft as he's lived down here for years. We don't see each other often, but whenever we meet up, he takes me by the shoulders, pulls me to him and will whisper something in my ear in the strongest accent he can muster. It makes me melt everytime, even though I don't understand half of it


He thinks it's hilarious :roll:
