new rims, and cost involved in rebuilding onto existing hubs

I am thinking of replacing my EX325 rims for some Sun MTX welded rims, rather than buy a new wheelset I am going to take my wheels to LBS and he sends them off to be built around my Hope Pro IIs.
How much (roughly) would I be looking at for this service, I am assuming that they would provide spokes, if they dont, how do I know which ones to buy and which nipples?
Thanks muchly!

if they dont know find another wheel builder.
and TBH it is not worth it.
sell the old wheels and buy new. it will be a small cost in the long run."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

TBH nick I was planning to sell them and buy a stock set of FSA Gravity wheels, trouble is things are kind of slow on the selling front due to people having zero cash.....
I think maybe you're right, may have to make do with these for the time being, theres nothing wrong with them, in fact they are OK, I am just being an upgrade whore again!0 -
Just ride until they die. If they don't die, a good wheelset!!!0

I'm having the same thing done (only with different rims) my LBS is charging me £10 per wheel to build, BUT because of the euro, blah blah blah spoke are getting dear now. £1.25 for black, 85p for silver. Soon adds up when you need 60+ of them.
All told my LBS is charging me £145 for 2x Mavic 521 rims, spoke and brass nipples built onto my ProII's (if Mavic ever stop eating snails, drinking coffee and taking 3 hour lunch breaks and bother to send them) and I'll end up with 2x Mavic 729 rims as spares for my DH Bike.0
