Hi all.

I just bought a kona stinky 2007 and wanting to fit a chain guide to it because the god damn chain keeps falling off !! . It has moto x crank arms. Ive never fitted 1 before but they usuly fit to the frame i think, but theres nowere to bolt it. Ill be gratefull if anyone could tell me what chain guide would fit to the bike and how. Many thanks Dan

If the frame has no tabs for a guide then you will need a bottom bracket mounting one, or have to use an adaptor plate, eg bb (bottom bracket) to ISCG (international standard chain guide) old or 05 (2005). Make sure it works with the size of chainring you will be using. Count the number of teeth it has, eg if it has 36 teeth it's a 36t or 36T chainring.

If you need to ask how to fit it then I'd advise getting a good bike shop to fit it for you. You'd need specific tools anyhow.

first you need to thing how many cogs do you want to use.

then find a divice that will work with that number and then get the bits needed to make it fit.

so before people can start offering ideas on what to get.

How many cogs do you want to run on the front?
