Help with decent routes for weekend stay and campsite
Hi all,
I am going camping for a weekend in August and i really dont know where to go! I am taking the missus aswell ( she doesnt ride ), so i need somewhere that has great trails / routes for me during the day and also something to keep the other half entertained and stuff to do at night ( not much i know!!! ).
Can anyone reccommend anywhere that fits all the above and also has a decent campsite nearby ( clean toilets, running water etc ).
Your reccommedations will be welcomed!!
cheers

Try this place http://www.rynys-camping.co.uk/
Its very family orientated. Kids and dogs are welcome as long as you clean up after them.
Your only 2 miles from Penmachno and about 4 from the Marin trail. Betws y Coed is 3 miles away and is good for a quite drink of a night.
Another alternative is Barmouth not to far from Coed y Brenin or if you wanna go Au Natural riding you have Cadair Idris. You can spend all day on the beach after a hard ride. The wife would probably enjoy a visit to Portmerion (the prisoner).
Your gonna get thousands of random suggestions as you've not stated which part of the country your wishing to visit.0 -
That looks good, gonna give them a bell.
I WANT loads of suggestions!!!!!
I really am not fussed where we go in the country and can get anywhere, as long as it has most if not all of the above requirements!
keep 'em coming.

Head up to Whitby mate. The missis will love the place. Very historic and beautifull seeside town. Captain Cook sailed from here to discover the world. Ths story of Dracula evolved from Whitby. I think its one of the top tourist place to visit in the country. While she is out and about you can travel to Dalby forest trail center, The North Yorks Moors, Cleveland Hills all great places to ride and ride. Check out the photos on www.mtbguisborough.ning.com they will give you an idea of what is to ride.
Good camp sites, good traditional pubs and nice friendly people. Hope this helps.
