Hi,

I need a new BB for my Kingfisher. I've established it's a Truvativ Howitzer XR, 68mm with a 51mm Chainline. Had a look online for one but have discovered that there is an M12 & M15.....

Does anyone know what one I'll need? I'm running Bontrager Big Earl cranks.

I'll try and see if I can spot anything tonight when I get home. Just want to get it ordered today if poss.

Cheers,

Aaron.

measure the crank bolt widths, or if the bb comes with the bolts then it does not matter.

Ah ha, is that all it is? I thought it may have had something to do with the axle thickness.

    Cheers.

axle thickness is the for the OD but the wall thickness is different.

    Thanks Nick.

I was also a bit confused as some pics on the web look like THIS. See the axle looks a bit like an ISIS connection.

Mine looks like THIS. The axle on this one looks meatier and exactly like mine.

it the fitting is the same but one costs more. the Howitser fitting is the same as ISIS in spline fitting and shape but the spacing is different.

If they say it is Howitser it will fit.
