Is it wrong....

I've had a Giant VT for the past 3 or so years and love it, but recently i have bought an On-One 456 so i can carry my son in a seat on the back, but also have a hardtail hack. I fitted some Mazocchi All Mountain 1s to it the other day and took it up to the local forest last night for a hack about. It climbs like a mountain goat and goes down hill fast with 150mm on the front, i believe i'm much faster and better on it than the VT.
My question is..........Is it wrong to be seriously thinking about moving all the best kit over to the On-One them selling the rest off to become a one bike bloke?? I know its nice to have a couple of bikes for different occasions, but i think i've found my soul mate. Just need to take it to Wales for a decent ride to seal the deal.

Had my 456 for ages - its one of the powder blue ones (I really wanted the snot green but they had all gone). I've got AM1s on mine too and the rest is mainly my brothers cast off's and I gotta say I don't want another bike. Sooooooo much fun the razz round the woods but will do a day out in the hills if you want or just tow the kids about on the old railway lines round here.
I can't justify anonther bike because I know I will just go back to the 456. I would upgrade to a Ti456 if I had the cash but that would only be because I could and not because I needed to!
So no its not wrong - how can it be when it feel so right?Stuff I have designed

Aww...
It's a beautiful thing!
Fidelity may be old fashioned, but there's nothing like being properly attached to a bike, set up absolutely just for you, forsaking all others.

I've ridden a fair few bikes in my time but i've actually found a bike that makes me grin most of the time riding it!!
The Ti frame does look pretty wicked and gets great reviews, but £1k is way out of my league!!
Just need to ride it more and start slowly moving the best kit over!!0 -

god ... that is just so wrong. I feel cold all of a sudden
instead; transfer the bits, sell the Giant and get something else, preferably made of carbone or titanium with boing and lots of it. Shock treatment should shake you out of this malaiseEverything in moderation ... except beer
Beer in moderation ... is a waste of beer
If riding an XC race bike is like touching the trail,
then riding a rigid singlespeed is like licking it
... or being punched by it, depending on the day0 -
The best bike in the world is the one you are currently riding. FACT.
I hate the thought of riding a section of trail and thinking 'that would have been so much better on my Socom' or 'my Anthem would have done that easyer'..........
Problem solved by only having one bike.

A bit like 'I ride rigid because it's more fun & use Vs because they're lighter and more reliable...'.
Not 'I wish I had a wedge of cash to spunk on springs & hydros...'.
Finally given up & joined the masses now anyway, sort of...
Bet that's upset someone! :twisted:WTD:
