Anybody recommend good travel insurance that covers bikes in transit. I have took my bike abroad for years now but having already 'lost' a carbon bike this year I would really want my new bike insured while in transit.

There is a slightly different approach to this problem.

If you have your bike insured through your home contents policy, it may well be covered in transit too. Mine is covered in this way as it is a specifically listed 'value' item. It's worth a call to check with your insurance provider.
    I’m a sprinter – I warmed up yesterday.

I need to look into this too as I have my first trip to the Alps in July.

    Hi
What insurance company do you have your insurance with?

House insurance is with AA and need to check if the bike will be covered in transit. Some cover on the HI and some don't.
