Do I need front lockout? And a bigger axle?

Hi, I'm a noob and I would like some advice concerning front forks. I'm about to purchase some Fox 32 Floats but I am a bit unsure on which one to go for:

a) Fox 32 Float R (9mm Open Dropouts) = £419.99
b) Fox 32 Float RLC (9mm Open Dropouts) = £534.99
c) Fox 32 Float RLC QR15 (15 QR Dropouts) = £589.99

b) and c) have a lock out function which I still undecided about. I have rear suspension with a lock out and someone told me that with a rear lockout I won't really need one on the front? The bike I'm building will be my first bike with any suspension so I have no experience concerning 'bobing'. I will be using the bike for mainly XC, but for flats and some uphill also. So how important will the front lockout be?

The price for a) is about what I would like to spend. The price for b) is pushing it, but if I decide I want the lockout then it's ok. What puts me off about c) is that I'll have to have my wheel re-hubed and spoked, and this just adds to the price. I quickly need some shocks to get me through this year and I will consider more expensive ones for next year circa £800, and in my mind £589.99 + hub/spoked is on the way to this figure. I may also use the forks I buy to go on a hardtail at the end of the year, so options a) and b) will be more suited.

But the one thing I'm thinking about here is is can I attach my front wheel to these models without getting it re-hubbed and spoked? I think I can tell that option c) will require this, but what about a) and b) ? Also, I'm presuming 9mm is standard size?

I will appreciate any input on this matter as I've been narrowing down the list of forks over the last 2 weeks. The 32 Float is what I want, but which one? Many thanks. :)

    a & b are normal QR skewer

c is the new 15mm axle which would need the correct hub or adaptor for your hub if it is 15mm convertible

Lockout is useful, but not only are you getting lockout you're getting Compression adjustment on b & c too.

option b, or c if it's not over budget (there are some good offers around at the mo) would be my choice.
