Questions from the Giro
1. Could Pellizotti have made 2nd place (or at least finished wiht a better time) if Basso had rode for him?
2. Should Di Luca work on his TT?
This is a tough one. Since it's nearly impossible to improve one skill without some detriment to the other, would he benefit by improving his TT by 10% and maybe losing 5-7% on his climbing as a result?
3. Would Levi have been top 4 if Chris Horner hadn't gone down?
(And a side question: is the dumbest move Silence-Lotto ever made, firing Horner and getting Popo instead?)
4. Could Sastre really have made the podium if he hadn't "made one mistake"?

On DiLuca - I reckon not using a tri bars in the first TT and barely using them in the second may have cost him the GC.
it's a hard life if you don't weaken.0 -
That's true, the time lost by those bars alone might have been worth the missing 40 seconds.0

Presumably Di Luca has raced over the same terrain with and without bars, and he is quicker without them. Technically not great, but that is his most effective style.0
