would rather actually be out on my bike...Ned Flanders: “You were bicycling two abreast?”
Homer Simpson: “I wish. We were bicycling to a lake.”

They seriously need to re-make downhill domination on the 360/ps3. It was a great game (ps2), tanning it down stupidly steep runs bike checking/whacking other riders with sticks/chucking bottles. Good times!!0

Voted yes but with the caveat that I'd rather be outside.0

id love a game on the xbox. i dont go balls out on descents cos a) im a wimp, and b) if i hurt myself badly ill be out of work = out of money.
a game would allow everyone to go flat out and do huge hucks and ridiculous stuff on a bike that you wouldnt dream of doin in real life. i had downhill domination on the ps2, it was good, but not enough courses. they had the right idea tho, combining freeride and dh together, instead of just dh which might have been a bit boring.
i especially like the idea of racing your mates online! and the bike radar tournament! that would be ace!Trek Remedy 7 2009

Dunno whether an MTB game would be cool or not but I was playing Skate2 last night and I think it goes to show that an MTB game could be realistic and yet still appeal to non-MTBers. Cut out all the negatives (falling off, bust bike etc) and include plenty of 'dream' locations/customisation/rewards and you could be on to a winner.0
-
we r onto a winner we just need to make it happen now, i really think an mtb game could be mega, i mean come on if f1 games are making a comeback so should mtb games0
-
Yeh I think that the gaming market has just gone a bit quiet with nothing really new coming out, just loads and loads of shooters that everyone is getting bored of!
With good advertising behind it, the game could be very inviting..... something different.Giant trance x30 -
I thought downhill domination was too unrealistic - no bike handling.
I prefer the bmx riding in San Andreas!Closet jockey wheel pimp whore.0 -

get ur head sorted man :P0 -
Amen to that!Giant trance x30

I don't understand how it would work. What would the player do and how?0
-
well i kinda thought the player could start in a location in his/her "hometown" do a couple of challenges, say win a few races or comps, win a big comp and then move on to the next location and pick sponsorship on the way and unlock new bikes/kit as you progress until eventually you rule the virtual mtb world
i think it could be achieved on a standard controller tbh0 -
It'd definately be possible but would require a big developer behind it to make it good enough(EA spring to mind)
Controls similar to Skate series...left stick for steering, right for trick stick(down/up for bunnyhop, down slightly for a manual) then buttons for the rest...pedalling/braking etc
maybe gears on the shoulder buttons.
Cant see anyone putting the cash in myself but then Shaun White snowboarding got horrible reviews and shifted 3 million+ copies!0 -
yer but it was a good game
if shaun white can do it why cant we!?!?!?!0 -
There's been a few by the looks of it. I like the graphics on this one...

yer played that but it wasnt as good as i thought it would be
not as good downhill domination imo
i think an online dh race series would awesome ........ and a slopestyle event would be mad
man imagine that ..... normies pullling double backflips ...... its what all u saddos have ever dreamed of :P0
