NS Bikes Aerial Pedals

hi all, i've wiped out another set of pedals, this time Gusset Slim Jims.
seem to be spending £20-£30 on pedals every few months so i want to get some decent ones for around £80.
i like the look of NS Bikes Aerials, or Straightline Jeff Lenosky, but does spending that much money really constitute much difference to the quality of the bearing / bushing / cartridge systems (could someone please explain these?)
im not much of a weight weenie, its more about strength so i dont want to be paying for some fancy metal, i want good quality, reliable bearings etc
thanks!

Cheap, and tough:

Look dated, but I have repeatedly smashed mine into rocks. No pins to bend, just the outer cage which you can bend back if it does go.
My favourite pedals for smashing into things!0
