Hi All,

I have been out on my bike on average twice per week since I started cycling back in September 2008. I have until now braved what I thought were the worst of types of weathers to cycle in, these being iced roads, rain, heavy winds.....how wrong I was!!

Last Sunday I was really looking forward to my ride, the sun was beaming, not a cloud in the sky and I had planned on cycling 75 miles that morning :D

Approx 10 miles into the ride I had just about drained my drinks bottles as the heat was so intense!! :(

Its my first venture out in hot conditions but I have to say I found it by far the hardest ride so far and headed back home after 25 miles. I have entered into the GYBR on June 13th (72 miles) and am hoping that the weather is not as hot otherwise its going to be exhausting!!

Cheers,

Tino.
Speciallized Allez 09...great bike shame about the wheels!!

    Tino.

Know what you mean Tino  - I'm doing 800ml every 25m at the mo. Could do with a bit more tbh.
