livening up and lightening up my singlecross help

currently have a stock single cross which has been used for commuting, now the company i work for has gothe b2w scheme and i'm really tempted by a touche.
If i keep the singlecross i may use it for the odd cx type stuff but it would be very occaisional but i would like it to be lighter. New wheel si think would make the most difference. any suggestions fo a good not too expensive wheelset that would liven the whole bike up?
Also tempted by some courier bars and tt style brake levers, will these pull canti brakes?
