New Full Sus Frame

So, I have finally decided that I want to get a full sus bike, not for the first time, but the first time where I could actually afford a decent one!
I am replacing my 1996 Kona Hot frame, which is pretty special and I love, so its going to have to a nice frame. I have been looking at the turner flux, which seems pretty good, but I live no where near a dealer so I have been unable to go and see as yet. I have never spent this sort of money on a frame so I don't want to sod it up. Does anyone have a flux? if so can you tell me how you're finding it? or does anyone have any other suggests for frames with 100mm of travel?
Cheers

Just the frame, or a full build?
I'd seriously look at this:

Just the frame. I have spent s long time getting the spec on the Kona just where I want it. That GT is a lot of bike for the money, and its really nice, but the spec on my Kona is quite a lot better. The only bits its king of "missing" are a rear brake (the Kona had a Magura HS33), and a Pair of wheels, but I will nick the XT factory set out of my Handsome Dog.- Kona Hot '96 - Marin Rift Zone '09 - Cannondale Synapse Carbon '06 - Kona Caldera '98 - Kona AA '94 - Dawes Kickback II - Cannondale BadBoy '11 - Genesis iOiD SS -0

You could sell the bits on it ;-). It is a great frame, worth a grand on its own.0

You really really love GTs don't you
I wonder how the weight of the frame compares to the turner, which is a lot more cash by the way. Might actaully work...- Kona Hot '96 - Marin Rift Zone '09 - Cannondale Synapse Carbon '06 - Kona Caldera '98 - Kona AA '94 - Dawes Kickback II - Cannondale BadBoy '11 - Genesis iOiD SS -0 -
My 2004 Gt ID4 was 6.2lbs inc shock for a medium.
Yeah, I like them for value ;-). I don't see it in a turner.0 -
Here's a GT frame:
GT I-Drive Marathon 1.0 Frame 2008 in large only.
How about a carbon one? And this is a damn good price for a carbon full suspension frame. And it weights just 2kg.
Viper Carbon Pro FS 2009, 17" and 19".
Or you want something from Scott:
Scott Spark 40 2009 Frame, all sizes.
Small frame but at good price is the:
Giant Trance Frame 2008,in 16" and 14.5".
Sorry if I overshot you budget. Let me know if you want more frames.0 -
Cheers for those. Heres a link to the Flux:

you haven't blown the budget at all, infact the turner is £1800!- Kona Hot '96 - Marin Rift Zone '09 - Cannondale Synapse Carbon '06 - Kona Caldera '98 - Kona AA '94 - Dawes Kickback II - Cannondale BadBoy '11 - Genesis iOiD SS -0 -
If you're going to spend that kinda money seriously consider a Nicolai Helius CC.
They're hand fabricated in Germany, the built quality is incredible, pretty light at 2.7kg without shock (so 2.95kg with one around 6.4lbs)for the medium, has adjustabel rear travel from 89 to 129mm.
You can have whatever powdercoat finish you want, nearly any anodised colour on the frame, anodised rockers & bearing caps.
Simply incredible frames looke HERE0 -
Damn, that's a lot of budget.
Then I would definately consider the Giant Trance Advanced 2008 frame, at half the price.

How about a Santacruz Superlight, could be just what you're looking for.

Another option is the kona Four Scandium:

Scandium frame and magnesium links make afor a very light frame. Good shock too.
Also the Scott Spark alu:
