    This is where I have a problem!

    My helmet saved my life anecdotes are accepted, yet as soon as someone posts an equally valid "My helmet caused an injury" anecdote it seems to be derided.

    Both are accounts of personal experience and equally valid.

    THe proof of protection or causation from / of an injury is entirely and uneqivocally comparable when it comes to "evidence" for a helmet's usefulness.
