Just ordered a Camelbak Racebak base layer hydration thingy for use during the summer and Ride To The Horns. Hopefully that will let me carry enough drink to get through longer rides without trying to find somewhere to stop. £65 from Merlin if anyone else is looking for one!!!

Nothing nicer than a hot sweaty back and water that is lukewarm!

I get a hot, sweaty back and lukewarm water in this weather anyway.... just makes it easier to drink in traffic and allows me to carry more

Tesco's have a hydration pack slimline rucksack thingy with mesh shoulder straps and hydration bladder etc included for.........seven quid. if you're only going to use it once in a while then could be worth a look?

I was looking for a decent sleeveless base layer anyway so I thought what the hell... if it's good enough for some of the guys riding the Giro.....

    Tesco's do two

One is a 2L and the second is 6L.
About £7.50 for the small one and £10 for the bigger one.

OMG, that's almost like carrying a second bike with you!

What's wrong with a standard backpack? Hydrapak BigSur for the win imo.

    Oh right, was gonna say.
6l of water on your back would not be a pleasant ride!

Well I recieved it today and I have to say the base layer feels pure quality. I'll give it a run out at the weekend, see how I get on. Gotta be easier than reaching for a bottle in traffic on an A-road
