Mine were around 1hr 5mins except a lap at 4.30am that took around 1hr 20mins.

Quite satisfied with that as I missed training 2 weeks prior to MM after a stack left me with broken ribs.

Definately more training before next year...and definately take Monday off!

ooooh..forgot to mention I won a set of Kenda tyres in their lucky dip.

The bloke put the number back in pot then my mate had a go and pulled it out again.

    Cheers Kenda!

I want the results! Thought they would be up yesterday but no :( . I've done some sailing events where the results for each race have been posted on the web as we rounded each mark of the course!

Our team managed 26 laps in tota (7 for me)l. My lap times ranged from 51 to 56 mins (56 was including the run). I would've had a lap sub 50 mins but I hit the big ruts at the top of the easy option REALLY wrong and rolled my front tyre off the rim  doh! So I ran/rolled on the bare rim down the last descent and still managed a 53 min lap.

Big well done to the solo guys, that course had a lot of climbing. I hope to do a solo at some point in the next couple of years.

    Yeah...chop chop with the results.

And come on Bike Radar...not a sniff of news or any coverage on what is the world's biggest 24 hour enduro!

  • I don't quite follow this.
Are you saying that as Mountain Mayhem is sponsored by one magazine and Bikeradar is connected to a different magazine, they are completely ignoring one the UK's biggest mountain bike events ?

And they think that's going to make me buy their magazine ?
I am a mountain biking god.
    Unfortunately, my bike's an atheist.

MG..totally agree. The complete lack of coverage of events certain mags don't sponsor is a bit crap.

What's the difference between Sport Men and Open Men?

Sport is supposed to be faster than open.

If we were in sports we'd have been in the top third.

TBH I'm not sure how many people actually realize what the different categories are about when they enter and it's pretty hard to gauge if you've never done one before.

I thought the difference was that Open was open to anyone. Whereas Sport wasn't open to riders who normally race in Expert or Elite. So Open should be the faster category.

Personally I think it is fairly pointless (and confusing) split, and it would be best if everyone was in the same category.
