How do you pronounce 'Alfine'?

Is the 'e' silent? Accented, like 'Alfiney'? Does it modify the 'i? 'Al-fyne'? What?

Maybe I've had too much sun this weekend (wasn't it great eh?) but this is bugging me beyond belief.
