Hi,

I have decided on getting a Boardman Comp and have a voucher through the C2W scheme on its way to me in June.

Two questions:

I am 5 ft 10/11 which frame size would suit me best; medium or large? I have been into bikehut and i cannot tell which is the better size. If anyone has a boardman comp and is similar to my height which size frame did you go for and how are you getting on?

Should i trust halfords with the set up of my bike? I've read the forum and have heard differing views - sounds very hit and miss? Is it worth taking the bike to a LBS for the set up?

Thanks in advance.

Jon

I'm 6ft1, and having sat on a medium Team Carbon which I built yesterday (I work at Halfords) I'd probably suggest a large.

If you are competent with building bikes, I suggest you take it in a box. I posted quite a bit yesterday in http://www.bikeradar.com/road/forums/viewtopic.php?t=12626965 so it might be worth having a read through my posts.

I went into my nearest Halfords (Exeter) as they had a large in stock, I was advised to wait for a medium, I'm 5' 11" and just over12 st, took their advice and tracked down a medium fits me perfectly.
