I have the carbon ones. Light, stiff, absorb a bit of buzz. For that price I'd get them.

For the small price difference I would get the carbon ones, should be a bit lighter and comfier on long rides due to the "trail buzz absorption" as SS put it.

    Why race face?

Thats not cheap for bars that are from 2007.

I got the new ritchey wcs carbon bars, they are lighter and cheaper, and I think they look nicer.

But its up to you, got mine for 45.00 from high on bikes.

Might have went up since though

It depends what sort of riding you;re doing. The Dues bars are a lot wider, so more suited for trail riding.

spent weeks trawling websites trying to decide which bars stem and post to go for - then when i decided on raceface it was which model to go for, eventually going for DEUS.
ordered from Merlin thursday 2pm and arrived friday 11am (top service).
fitted yesterday and loving the sexy styling and theyre soooo light.

I love carbon bars, but those ones are a wee bit narrow, 630mm. I don't want to sound like I write for MBR or something, but personally I'd find that too tight now- I've rapidly gone up from 560mm eastons to 680mm truvativs over the last 6 months and every time I've gone up a size, it's felt immediately better and more natural. The 680mms are the first ones I've never found my hands wandering outwards with... I wouldn't fit a new set of 630mms now, no way.

This might not be a bad alternative:

I have the Noir Team bars, from the same shop, they've sold out now but these are still available at a very nice price. 200g, so fairly heavy for a carbon bar but then they're also pretty wide.
