Great value, but quite heavy frames and short reach for a given size.0

they seem well specced and good value, they look good to. i was impressed when i saw them at the cycle show in OctoberDont you just love Marin's...i sleep with mine0

I agree they look very good bikes, but as sonic said, been hearing the frames are pretty heavy.0

Again, to agree with the above, amazing kit for the price... for example, the Stereo K18.. pretty much full XT gearing, Revelation 426 Dual Air forks, RP23 rear shock, formula discs etc etc... for £2099.. and IMO, they look amazing..
140mm all round travel for approx 30lbs, give or take, that doesnt sound too bad to me..
But then call me biased, I've just ordered one
(I'll post an update if you're interested when it arrives?)
Anyway, surely if the bike is heavier, it's more of a challenge?! lol :P0 -
heavy frames?!?! cube reaction has a 1400gram frame, and its aluminium, when you think scott sparks (carbon) are 1200....0

Got an LTD Race the other! Absolutely amazing. Eventhough the frame is quite heavy, the kit on it makes up for it! I knocked 6minutes off a local trail which is 4.5miles long.Giant XTC SE 2006

Have a look at the mid range ones. CUBE LTD RACE, 1850g frame, in small, on a £1049 hardtail. Still good value, and is made up by the parts, but not a bike to upgrade if you want a real light XC flier IMHO.
The 500 quid Decathlon Rockrider has a frame of 1650g in a large!
The Reaction is 1480g for a small.0
