UCI have withdrawn their licence due to financial problems.

Bad time to be a team starting with "A" it seems

    Ah yes. Of course they will have been given a deadline to meet, by Pat.......and another.....then probably yet another...... :roll:

    Somehow, it's more sad when a small team goes bust.
    Having not had the cash to splash in the first place.

    They were effectively new for this year too, well as sponsors anyway. Though I know Amica have been involved in the sport before.

    Good job Bertagnoli jumped ship pre-Giro really. Personally I blame Igor Astarloa, seems to have an effect on every team he joins. If ever there was a curse of a rainbow jersey, he's sure got it :wink:

    They'll be other casualties on the teams front too.
