Cycle lane in Brighton

    I've used the cycle lane (from Shoreham, all the way into Brighton) on thousands of occasions and it really isn't that bad. Of course people are going to walk out in front of you - it's what they do! You just have to have your wits about you and enjoy the ride. Anything is better than risking the A259.

    Target Weight: 92 kilos (14.5 st) (sometime mid-2010, hopefully sooner)

    He needs to try the nightmare of Lewes Road at rush hour! Cars all over the cycle lane and idiot cyclists RLJ'ing! :(

    A friendly 'ding on the bell' usually gets the peds attention if that fails just scream "I'm outa control!" :P
