DT Spokes Query

Going to get a new wheel built from CRC combat on a spin doctor and I'm going for the DT Swiss Competition DB over the DT Swiss Champion PG spokes but the Comp spokes on CRC say 2mm-1.8mm, does this mean the thinner at one end or thinner in the middle?

Yep, the ends are 2.0mm, the middles 1.8mm. They are not as stiff, but build into more durable wheelsets and the spoke is actually becomes stronger due to the butting process.0

Ok thanks, They will stand up to a bit of a bashing though? that's half the reason I have gone with the combat, other half is it will match the front combat. no dh stuff or heavy freeride stuff.0

Well hopefully it will be, that thread on here some where regarding CRC wheel builds seem to point to them being good.
