I'll be here. Working. As it's the weekend after most people's pay day and it's set to be sunny, I'll be spending most my time picking up sunburnt, injured drunks. Quality.Tim.s wrote:Not that I would go anyway, id rather ride my bike than go look at someone else riding one.
When I won tickets to the Birmingham Bike Show and went my car got broken into. They broke a lock, a window and stole the stereo and my sunglasses, which were prescription so useless to them. Ha Ha.0 -

i got the qual cause there was space on a course being run by my company, my name was put forwards as im a keen cyclist and i thought why not.
was a rubbish course but it does mean that instead of a week of doing hill walking and climbing and canoing, i get to ride for a week instead. cool
plus, i will be getting paid!!0 -
sounds good
where did you do it????0 -
it took place at a place called chilwell which is near nottingham.
the practical element was done at some rubbish little country park whihc wasnt interesting or taxing in the slightest. the course was a joke but it gives me the tick in the box to be able to get some riding in when i should be working.0 -

Chilwell you say, I might have to look Into this. Is for when you do adventure training, Instead of taking the lads hill walking and canoeing you can go mountain biking. It's not a ornament, so ride It0 -

Sarnian, are you a member of the ACU? I think they run MTB leader courses every so often. Would have gotten on one myself, but I was away when the course was being run
Next time maybe!Boo-yah mofo

No I am not, If I am right In thinking about what sheepsteath has done, then I should be able to get It paid for, and paid for doing It.It's not a ornament, so ride It0 -
Oh and as for a ride, I would be well up for It as long as It was somewhere that I could get to by train from Poole or Waymouth, without to much trouble. It's not a ornament, so ride It0

Not sure you'd get paid, I think he meant that he was being paid by the Army (the 24hrs a day thing) but I could be wrong.
Not sure of cost, but it wouldn't be much. You could use your Standered Learning Credits to fund it though! Only for 75% (or a figure around that).Boo-yah mofo
