have a new set of x.o sram shifters on new bike, and was wondering if there was an easy way of changing both gear cables, it looks bloody bifficult  shimano,s had the little grub screw that you could poke the cable out of, but there does,nt seem to be that option on the sram, any help would be appriciated  cheers percey

tops off and the cable comes out. just make sure the spring and bits dont go flying as putting them back together is a right royal pain in the rear.

I have done this many times..... its not as scary as people make out, just be gentle taking caps off, there is normally one spring that unclips but its easy to see where it goes. Before you put cap back on I always flush out and debris/dirt thoroughly with GT85.
