There are a few other examples of rider we have reason to believe were clean performing well in the Grand Tours, witness Moreau's 4th place in 2000. However, there is a big difference between coming 4th and winning, let alone winning the Tour de France 7 times, and that is the sort of difference doping can make.

It would be good if the Kohl's and the Riis's told us what level of improvement the PED's gave them when they confessed. Although I think a yellow jersey and a polka dot between them is probably evidence enough.0 -
