Steal all the bits off your other bike and get a Kuota Kross in carbon! I did think about buying a whole bike for £1k but realised I'd just then spend a pile of extra money on upgrades.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

I just bought a frame and some frogleg brakes and tyres and built one out of my old training bikes parts. Relatively cheap for a good piece of kit!0

Got a pPlanet X uncle john, built with 105 and mavic wheels cost a shade over £1000, really happy with it.0

I paid £800 for my Decathlon Btwin cyclocross.
Not a bad price for a 105 groupset and own brand wheels which are bomb proof
