Any routes around West Lothian or Falkirk in Scotland?

Me and my MTBing buddies need some more routes around the West Lothian or Falkirk area in Scotland

    I've found a few decent routes (for me) max up to 22mile ish circuits with high % offroad from nr Falkirk High rail only using about 6 miles of the canal suggest head east avoiding the 'darky' tunnel to just before muiravonside then back up through Maddiston, California and onwards past the transmiting station, through forest trails to drum wood and back.

    Have you seen the proposed core path plan from Falkirk council you can dowload ? this may highlight a few other routes and I think west lothain have similar info too.

    I'm looking at a route incorporating the River Avon Heritage trail in but never been there, not sure how busy, any thoughts on this or other routes ?
