I am flying with Emirates and they want to know the weight of my bike. Does anyone have any idea, as Specialized have decided not to post it on their site! And I don't have a scale at the house.

Cheers

Does it need to be bagged up etc? I'd be safe and just say "around 30lbs", surely they can't be talking too accurate? Even if Specialized had listed it, I wouldn't trust it, these companies all talk porkies about frame weights! ;)

I need to be accurate, as they give me 30 kilograms for all my luggage. And my bike needs to fall within that. Any extra and I pay for it. 35pounds per kilo. Might just take it to the pharmacy and use there scale..
  • Its probably 12-14kg depending on what size frame etc

go buy some scales. ( cheaper than being over weight and charged for it).

sorry if you need to know the weight of your bike then you have to find out. as size and spec make a difference.
