Anyone had any experience of bike trailers al BOB etc...

I am looking to do a 4 day ride for fun with camping along the way so kitting up will be the key here with sleeping bags and tent etc for 2...

Many thanks

Halfords have got trailers in their sale that would take a couple of bikes plus a tent etc. think they were £250 in the shop i was in yesterday although the web price is more. I am thinking of getting one and putting a modified bike roof rack in it to hold the bikes.

Yeah, I meant the trailers you put on the back of a bike to carry stuff off road like on an expedition, but thanks for the reply.

Rai - I'd look at panniers/backpack rather than a trailer - it will would seriously hinder where you can go!

Most racks (needed for panniers) can fit almost anything.

You can get pannier racks to fit practically any bike - some of them can attatch/clamp to the base of the seatpost if your bike lacks the conventional attachments.

actually, this is what you need

its a seatpost clamp that has the rack mounts built in so you can still mount a conventional rack if you don't have propert attachments on your frame.
