brakes that have a removal tag on the lower edge can catch on the joining bolts depending on the size of the disc.

why do you want the floaters? better braking? you wont see any.

Bling well if you like them.

They are able to deal with the braking heat build up better (as the aluminium spider can draw the heat away from the steel braking surface, very efficiently), so the discs don't warp as much if you constantly heat up the disc on long descents (think alpine descents).

IIRC, they are also lighter than a 'standered' boring disc. However, if weight isn't a problem too much, check out the Ace rotor, and the Bone Burner rotor... COOL!

IIRC, floating rotors also look cool too 8)

I got them because they're light and because they look cool. Sue me  Oh, and they were cheap from Wiggle. Can't answer the question though I'm afraid.

    No they will not fit.

I ordered some for my Stroker Rydes from my LBS. The shop gave me a refund when their mechanic couldn't fit them.

    Hope that helps.

p.s. I ended up buying them again! - as well as Tech M4s to go with them - great brakes - well chuffed.
