Thinking of buying one

I'm aware the company has gone out of business, so probably buy a new one, just for the warranty.

Anyone use one and has it helped improve their power?

Only seen one being used and it was v.good but if the firm is no more wouldn't you be wasting your money?

The problem is the ISIS BB - a weak design that will require a periodic rebuild and recalibration - not good if they've gone bust! BTW using a power meter won't make you faster / stronger - only using the information in support of a structured training programme is going to help - you've still got to make the effort to train hard!
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

In agreement with the above post. It may improve your power as part of a structured programme but you have to have the time/inclination to interpret the numbers. The one I saw being used gave a read-out of the owner climbing Alpe d'Huez and was interesting but you have pedal and know your figures

Well the Ergomo company hasnt gone bust as such, they are trading under another name but have stopped making them.

And yes of course, the training is the only thing which will improve my power.....but its a tool to help is what I meant.
