Recommend me a Heart Rate Monitor

I am looking for a heart rate monitor that I can use both on the bike and will link to a concept 2 rowing machine.

Any ideas?

There seems to be so many on the market these days!

What sort of money do you need to spend to get a good quality one with features to show when you are in certain training zones etc?

1 vote for polar CS200cad. Coded chest strap works fine with all Life Fitness machines at work.

Cadence quite fiddly to set up. Why they can't make a single sensor for speed and cadence and mount it on the chainstay is beyond me. No problems once setup tho.

Does a Polar F series HRM work with the concept 2 rowing machine???

I don't need any cycling specific stuff as I use a Garmin 205 when on the bike.
