MTB trails Newbury

Hi,

Was wondering if anyone knew of any good trails around newbury for heavy xc to all mountain. Thanks.

    You are just 5 miles from Wayfarer's Walk which runs from Kingsclere tin the east through to Shalbourne in the west. You also have rides from Ashmansworth, Faccombe, Combe Hill, Linkenholt, Vernham Dean etc etc.

    I live in Highclere and I have found literally hundreds of miles of trails around here - not sure how technical you want them to be but we can only ride the terrain as we find it.

    Check out the Gorrick web site - Hot Ride next Sunday 7th June from Venham Dean playing fields. Distances from 30k; 50k and 100k. This will give you a good introduction to the local scenery.

    I'm scheduled for the 50k....see you there (with a few hundred other people no doubt)
