Did anyone rider the Midland Monster this year?
I am curious to know whether riders felt that they received value for money?
I may be mistaken but I think the event was partly organised by the same team behind the Forest of Dean Classic - on which I have been scathing.

I rode and have no complaints at all.
Well stocked feed stops with gels, bars, fruit, cake, energy drink and water. Also received a goodie bag with gel, energy bar, inner tube and a couple of Park Tools tyre levers. I think the guys at KilotoGo could learn a lesson or two from these guys. I was charged an extra £13 to change from the medium to long route at the Cheshire Cat and their so-called goodie bag contained nothing but a ton of advertising boomph and a fake Buff.

Flippin Heck! That is scandalous.
I dropped the Cat in 2008 after thinking that it was an overpriced rip-off.0
