Bob Jackson Frames

Hi
I'm thinking about buying a Fixed and would like some advise. I recently spoke to Brick Lane Bikes and they recommended a Bob Jackson/Reynolds 631 Frame. From their website they look great.
I read somewhere that Bob Jackson, the man, is no longer around, and the company got taken over by someone else. How do the frames produced today compare with the old ones, are they still a good buy?
Any comments on Bob Jackson frames would be appreciated.
many thanks.

I like the look of them too. Gary has one so maybe he will post up when he sees this.0

Have a look on Weight Weenies Forum. There was some discussion about how the frames are good but delivery times can overrun.

I had the good fortune to spend a month in the late '90s riding a BOb Jackson built Hetchins Curly Stay and it was one of the best riding steel frames I've ever been on. So I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them as a frame builder.0
