Specialized BG mitts are very comfy, but you probably should try a few for fit as each brand will be cut differently.

I have some Castelli Rosso Corsa ones in black and red and some Gore ones in white , depending on what I'm wearing, they are both great! Very comfortable, breathable, well padded, good snot wipe pads and I think they look brill.

Aldi have pairs of mitts @ £2.99. You get what you pay for...... (Yes I do have a pair)

The Gel BG gloves are the best gloves I've ever had - I don't really rate the cheaper ones though - the padding wasn't great in the ones I've had.
I'm left handed, if that matters.

The 2.99 Aldi ones are pretty good for the money, not going to last forever, but cheap or for a fiver more you could try these, reduced from 20 quid:

I have a pair and they're fine. Nice quality.

Like the look of the pearl ones, i take it by the Spesh BG ones you all referring to the Specialized BG Gel type.

I can only find them in black colours, want something light for summer.

Forgot to say, the gel pad on the pearl izumi ones, being about 3 inches thick, saved my hand from doom when i came off at high speed... May they rest in P.I.ece.
  • evans have got some really nice mitts in their sale section - well worth checking out. pearl izumis are v nice.

Yet another +1 for BG mitts :) Apart from decent shorts I'd say they're the best cash I've spend on bike clothing...

I use the mitts in summer and the long-finger version in winter, no complaints from me. Compared with the cheapies I had previously from Halfords, if you can call £13 cheap, they're a world apart. 8)

The Specialized ones come in grey with blue stitching too.

+1 for Specialized BG Mits .... They are very good. I recently tried another brand from Chain Reaction (Chiba) and the Spec ones are much, much better.

Hmmm...... may have to have a look at the Spesh ones. I've found that the pads on my Endura gloves are all in the wrong places for a decent hand position on the bars

    +1 for PI

I use mine for MTB as well as Road so can definitely tell you that they're comfortable no matter what you put them through.
